A PICASSO

In February I bought a lottery ticket to win a Picasso with an estimated value of 1 million euros and a 1:50,000 chance of winning.

The drawing was to have been held March 30, but with confinement, it didn’t happen until today. The lottery was in support of CARE, an organization dedicated to providing clean water in Africa.

The drawing was held live via internet from Christie’s in Paris. I didn’t win, but came close. Regardless, it was fun and a worthy cause.
