PANDEMIC MANAGEMENT

One of the characteristics of the French is that they like to complain. It’s all part of a game, really because what they really enjoy is debate.

To most of us living here, compared to the US, things are working beautifully. Yes, there were shortfalls and mistakes made as COVID presented itself, but the government honestly admitted their mistakes, took responsibility, and came up with a plan that is working thus far.

It is easy to take potshots. But I would much rather be here than in the US where it is virtual chaos by comparison.

The debate will no doubt continue, but it will keep the government on its toes, making it accountable. Supplies will be restored and lessons taken. Oh, if that were only the case in the US!
